Ever since a young age I have always wanted to be creative and express myself in ways where my inspiration was on full display. I considered the field of Engineering early on in life and believed it to be my dream job based on the idea that I’d be able to make things with my own hands. My mother was quick to support the notion after watching me reverse engineer several different toys that I used to play with as a child. I always knew that I would want to challenge myself with a career that made me think in an unconventional way but intriguing enough to keep me interested every day. But never would I have guessed that years later I would have the opportunity to work with such a prestigious toy company as Hasbro, in a role as a packaging engineering intern, with no day being quite like the one before.
The decision to work at Hasbro was an easy one for me just based off the fact that they have many of the brands that helped shape my childhood such as Transformers, Monopoly, and the newly acquired Power Rangers. It’s safe for me to say that I had a certain perception of fun and creativity that immediately drew me in the front doors of Hasbro and separated them from any other work environment I could choose to be apart of. I’m also glad to be able to say that even during my first few weeks, my experiences at Hasbro have not fallen short of my expectations. I’ve really been able to test the limits of my imagination while being surrounded by positive minded individuals who have been supportive of my growth along the way. I am very grateful to be a part of the family friendly culture here at Hasbro and can only say that I am excited for what is to come!
