Special thanks to Hasbro and the Global Communications Team

As an intern on the Global Communications team I have not only learned valuable skills pertinent to becoming a Comms professional but also what it means to be part of an incredible company that takes on each day and each project with purpose.

The thought of working 20 hours a week in addition to a full course load my last semester of college seemed very daunting at first, but turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life. I have felt as though I’ve truly made an impact and created incredible connections with my team members.

One of the things that I’ll always remember is the support my team has given me. Whether it’s allowing me to switch my hours to better accommodate for school events or taking the time to meticulously explain how to work on a project, I have felt unwavering support every single day. Being on the Global Communications team I’ve had great exposure to all different parts of Hasbro. I’ve had the opportunity to participate in on meetings about Nerf TikTok, Global Philanthropy, and Cyber Security, just to name a few. The best part, though, is that my team encourages me to contribute to these conversations and really values the ideas that I say. This is the first experience I’ve had as an intern where my own contributions have been considered. It’s important to me to make an impact.

I also know how invested my team is in my success. I’m always assigned projects that allow me to have a broad variety of experiences and encourage me to ask as many questions as I need to understand and learn from the experience.

Thank you Hasbro and the Global Communications Team for making every hour of work fun, engaging, and completely worth it! I’m so grateful for having experienced a purpose driven organization and being able to have a voice at the table.
